The Canals on 34th

VBJ Developments has ventured into the proposal of bringing large-lot rural living to outskirts of Manitoba’s second largest urban center. The proposed project will be south west of Brandon’s city limits at the corner of 34th Street and Patricia Ave in the Municipality of Cornwallis. This intersection is 1 mile south of Richmond Ave and 1 mile west of #10 Highway. Both these streets would be considered major arteries to the urban center’s network and allow for fast travel to any of its amenities.
The 142 acre project would consist of 31 large residential lots ranging in size from 2.00 to 4.05 acres. All lots border a gracious 42 acres of public reserve (green space) on at least one side. The green space provided will contain planted trees and berms which will aid in privacy, noise and dust from surrounding properties and roads. 17 of these lots will have the pleasure of bordering a constructed wetland.
VBJ Developments believes this project will aid the municipality by generating tax revenue and provide relaxed rural estate living with a very short commute to urban amenities.
